You can't say we didn't try. We opened up 6 pits today and found little to nothing in the way of good bottles. A half a dozen Miles Nervine's and Heart Remedies, a cobalt "One Heaping Teaspoon of Desert" looking dose glass, and even a crude pontil, late throw, slick medicine.

There are three pits left in the yards. They felt bunky as the others. Steve didn't want to give in, he got an 11th hour permission from a guy across the street. We spent some time probing out the back lot line thoroughly. Steve found two spots up close to the house, and one the lot line with an adjoining property. By then it was getting late and we decided to save it for another trip.
